I have a deep love for writing, literature and being creative.
There are just so many ways in which people can profit from bringing more creativity in their lives. Each one of us can learn more about the world and ourselves from engaging in creative activities. That’s why I finally started this blog to communicate these ideas.
The Beauty of Writing
I have been writing ever since I was little. I always had a love for the written world. Be it in the form of my own stories or those of others. One of the things I want to accomplish with this blog is to communicate and share this message with others.
The more time I spend in the creative field, the more I learned about myself and what it actually means to be creative. I found out just how much more there is to life. I watch closer, I look longer and I take many more things in than I did before. There are just so many different benefits of writing and being creative. I want to share those with you.
Writing is Hard Work
In truth though, as much as I love creative writing I also learned one thing. Writing is hard work. Without putting in your hours, learning the craft and keeping at it for a long time you won’t get anywhere.
The truth is I have given up many times. I made many mistakes in the course of my writing, but I also learned a lot.
There are many valuable lessons aspiring writers as well as those who are already doing it should and can learn. Not only about the craft, but also many very important fundamental problems. I want to talk about what it really means to be an artist, the nature of hard work, the perseverance and energy creative people need and many other similar topics.
In this blog itself I want to discuss many topics related to the craft, including the above. I want to actively engage young writers, help them and inspire them. The blog is not so much a teaching tool, but I want it to be more of a journey both for you and me. I want to connect with you, learn from you and with you. We all can and have much to learn, whoever we are and I hope you will follow along.
Thank you very much for reading and welcome to Ethereal Writing.
